UPDATE: Both resorts are now scheduled to reopen. Walt Disney World in Florida will start reopening July 11 and Disneyland in California July 17. The re-opened parks will have limited attendance with required reservations, social distancing markers, required face coverings and other safety measures. The Disneyland and Walt Disney World parks and resorts are all temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.
The closures were announced on March 12, 2020.
The Disneyland parks closed starting March 14, with the resort’s hotels staying open a few extra days so that guests could arrange for travel home. Walt Disney World parks closed on March 15.
